Every outbound campaign needs at least one phone number before it can place calls. Phonely lets you choose numbers already attached to the agent, assign unused workspace numbers, or import new numbers from Twilio.

Where To Add Numbers

  • Open /campaign/{agentId} and create or edit a campaign.
  • In the Add Phone Numbers step, click Add Phone Numbers.
  • Use /settings?tab=numbers when you want to review workspace numbers outside a campaign.

What The Selector Shows

The number picker separates numbers into:
  • Agent Phone Numbers: numbers already associated with the current agent
  • Unassigned Phone Numbers: workspace numbers that are available to assign
  • Import numbers from Twilio: a modal for bringing in more numbers
You can search by phone number or region before making a selection.

Add Existing Numbers

  1. Open the Add Phone Numbers selector from the campaign.
  2. Search or browse the available lists.
  3. Select one or more numbers.
  4. Click Add to Campaign.
  5. Confirm the number now appears in the campaign phone number list.

Import Numbers From Twilio

  1. In the selector, click Import numbers from Twilio.
  2. Connect the Twilio account in the modal.
  3. Reopen the number selector after the import finishes.
  4. Select the new number and add it to the campaign.

Before You Launch

  • Confirm the campaign has at least one phone number attached.
  • Use numbers that match the routing strategy you plan to use.
  • If the wrong number is attached, remove it before publishing the campaign.
